NASA Texas is thrilled to announce that registration is open for the 2017 COTA Memorial Madness event. The Memorial Day weekend will be the first visit for NASA to the world famous F1 track in Austin TX. The event runs from Friday May 26th – Sunday May 28th.
The event will feature the standard NASA formula and high quality that everyone has come to expect from the successful sanctioning body. A mix of HPDE, TimeTrial and Sprint Racing will take place on the full circuit over the 3 days during the ideal weather period in Texas. Entries are starting to roll in from across the country and Regional Director Will Faules expects every group to sell out. NASA Prototype (NP) is one of the classes that has the potential to have 2 dozen entries, which would be a record for the class. As of this writing, NP entries have even come from distance states such as Florida and California.
Participants will experience a large amount of track time. Faules added, “We have ~260 minutes of track time available when compared to other events held at this world class facility.” You can view the tentative schedules on the registration page: https://www.nasaproracing.com/events/2531
